The LCC Scholarship Committee was formed in October 2020 to financially assist active church members continuing their education at an accredited institution of higher learning, trade school, . To apply, submit the following by April 1:

  1. Scholarship Application Form
  2. Letter of acceptance from an accredited higher learning institution, trade school, apprenticeship program, mission program, or internship program. If acceptance is not received by April 1, please turn in as soon as it arrives.
  3. Personal essay (Please address the areas listed below in a double-spaced, typed essay, 12 pt font size, 3 page max):
    1. What are your educational goals, and what inspired you to choose them?
    2. In what way has your service to church, school, and/or community shaped you as a person?
    3. Describe a challenge in your life (past or present) and how God has helped you through it.
    4. Describe how Lihue Christian Church has impacted your life.
  4. Please arrange to have the following documents sent to the church office (2943 Kress St., Lihue, HI 96766), to be received by April 1.
    1. Official school transcript
    2. Two letters of recommendation (1 from school, 1 from community)–provide each person with a stamped envelope addressed to the church office. Click here for Recommendation Guidelines
